Winter is here and it’s in full force. Has anyone else felt that it has been cooler this year than years past? I have, and I’m in need of a little warming up! If you are too, here are some of the hottest spots in town.
First up is Buona Caffe,- located on Central Avenue. Being located between Augusta University’s main campuses makes it an easy spot to find and convenient to stop by. From the amazingly tasty coffee to the beautiful milk designs, this is definitely one of your best bets to beat your morning shivers. The baristas are talented, super friendly, and their warm smiles will brighten up your day. They also have an additional location at the Hull McKnight Building at the Georgia Cyber Center on Reynolds Street which makes it even more convenient for their students on to go in between classes.
You can also stop by Inner Bean Cafe. Its main location is on Davis Road, but residents at Beacon Station in the medical district have the luxury of having their own inside their apartment complex. In addition to the drinks that can warm you up, you can get some delicious treats including cakes that are baked from scratch daily. They also showcase art and have monthly events to showcase our local talents. What’s better than live entertainment? So there are enough reasons to stop by so you can warm up and have an entertaining time.
Finally, you have to go to New Moon Cafe if you happen to be downtown. It is one of the best places for breakfast (and their breakfast sandwiches are the best), and the local art featured inside makes it worth a trip downtown. Of course, their coffee and teas will warm you up, but the environment with their food makes it even better to enjoy while you are there... Not to mention the fact that being located in the historic JB Whites Building makes it perfect for some pics.
There are plenty of great places in the CRSA. What other places have you tried lately to warm up? Send us a tweet!
