We’ve had a phenomenal month! Since launching the Friday before Masters Week, we’ve distributed thousands of copies of Little Guide Augusta and all of them have been picked up. It’s not the worst problem to have, but thank you for your patience while we adjust to a greater demand than we expected. Especially as each one has been picked up from one of our featured locations.
The idea behind our book is to bring the printed stories to life online, and so in the coming weeks and months we’ll be doing just that on our Facebook and Instagram.
We’ll also take advantage of the (hopefully) warmer weather and head out across the region to discover more special and funky gems! I am so ready. We may not get much of a winter around here, but it’s not prime time to get outside and explore. Plus, we’re about to see an onslaught of events, festivals, new businesses opening, and summer tourists.
Thank you again all of you guys for being so amazingly supportive – I’m thrilled you like our Little Guide. I’m so excited about where we’re headed, and love hearing from you. Keep it coming, and please share the love.
Molly Swift moved to Augusta from the U.K in 2002, and immediately fell in love with the area. With a background in publishing, project management and a Masters in Business, Molly now manages social media marketing for local businesses. She is devoted to growing the Little Guide Augusta both as a guide book, and as an online community. While food isn’t her main love – that would be husband, Jeremy – it makes an appearance on her list of favorite things, right behind her three daughters, gorgeous grandson, two dogs and two cats. When not writing, eating, or hanging out with her family, Molly can usually be found drinking coffee on the porch posting gifs on Facebook.
