Manoj Parameswaran has enjoyed more than 20 years
progressively sharpening his skills in the kitchen, including time
as chef for the Augusta National. A passion for great food, and
developing a desire to manage the business behind serving food
made the progression from chef to restaurant owner a natural one. While looking for a
location to share his Indian heritage, Manoj realized the Evans area was ready for more
ethnic flavors, and pursued the path to own his own place. Driving his need to succeed is
his wife, Sujitha Manoj and their children, Nayan and Neha.
Rather than get mired down in a formal setting, Manoj decided to establish something more accessible and fast-casual, and the idea of popular Indian street food items fit the bill. The restaurant offers an inviting atmosphere in which diners can enjoy a range of street foods, such as dosa, butter chicken, garlicky cauliflower and kulcha. Manoj wants customers to enjoy a quality experience so he uses only quality ingredients, often local. With convenience in mind, the Namaste Indian Street Food social & website offers diners the chance to see the menu, a selection of signature dishes and specials, as well as online ordering.
