Understated, elegant, welcoming and very Southern, Noble
Jones is a nod to an English carpenter from Herefordshire.
The original Noble Jones commanded Georgia’s Northern
Company of Marines, became a Speaker of the Georgia
House of Representatives and eventually played a
prominent role during the Revolution. Our Noble Jones, under the careful guidance
of J.D. Wier, is located by the site of the Saturday Market at the river, a predominantly
pedestrianized area – private, yet conveniently close to downtown.
J.D. Wier has brought his culinary vision to life by providing a vibrant menu of seasonal dishes to the local community. NoJo, as it’s already affectionately called, provides J.D. with the perfect setting to create a menu that reflects his own travels and experiences throughout the Southeastern states. As a result, a local palate would be particularly thrilled with many of his recipes, including his catfish po’ boy and the fried pickled okra, as well as the more robust brisket and the smoked fried chicken. Sit outside, or enjoy the relaxing ambiance in its spacious dining areas – either way, diners will fall for the classic decor, friendly service, and the quality drinks and dishes that connect them with the Southeast.
