This family-owned retro diner in North Augusta has
been a part of the local community for more than
50 years. Now owned by the Usry family and part of
the Fat Man’s Café Hospitality Group of restaurants,
the diner has recently enjoyed a refreshing face-lift, bringing it back to life as a vibrant
family restaurant and much loved local destination. The face-lift included renovating
the drive in boxes, which can be used by customers who want to pull in and order from
the comfort of their vehicle.
With a focus on fresh, quality and local ingredients, the menu features a variety of traditional American fare, including handmade burgers, hot dogs, frosty floats, and dipped cones. Specialty shakes and monthly meal specials are part of the fun at the Cap, which also hosts bike nights, and cruise in events for classic and collectors’ cars. The Sno-Cap is also a supporter of the North Augusta community initiative, Third Thursday, and a sponsor of the Greenjacket’s baseball team. Dog friendly, the Cap welcomes customers to dine in or sit outside – don’t forget to take a selfie in front of the Insta-worthy mural of a dancing burger, hot dog and root beer float!
